设计说明： 竹茧 

每一根竹子的纤维都可以绕人体一周，和蚕丝相似，制作的过程也很相似，洞口在竹茧编织
完成以后打开，和蚕一样。 茧是一个最小的人体胶囊， 但其中包含了一个独立的世界。

Chen Haoru is an architect and professor of CAA. He received his education and training in New 
York and later returned to his native city of Hangzhou. He is the principal architect in his studio 
and has worked in various disciplines of design. 


Design Introduction： COCOON 

The  bamboo  cocoon  is  a  miniature  human  capsule.  Each  bamboo  fiber  is  long  enough  to  wrap 
around  the  human  body.  The  formation  of  the  bamboo  cocoon  parallels  the  formation  of  the 
silkworm  cocoon.  The  cocoon  is  woven  from  the  inside  out,  and  the  opening  is  cut  out  of  the 
whole completed capsule.
